MISSION & OBJECTIVE
Our mission is to connect tomorrow's great writers with today's elite Decision-Makers in the entertainment industry...WE FEED DIRECTLY INTO THE MAINSTREAM INDUSTRY HERE IN HOLLYWOOD. Our Panel includes top AGENTS (ICM, GERSH, PARADIGM, LARCHMONT LIT + UTA's former Head of the Story Dept.) and EXECS ("JACK THE GIANT SLAYER", "FAST & FURIOUS", former Senior VP of DISNEY, HBO dev exec of 10 years, producers for CBS, LIFETIME TV, & SYFY Channel. The President of SONY PICTURES & the Acquisition Exec for COMEDY CENTRAL'S TripTank are among the "Mentors" for our winners.

This is the entertainment industry’s elite “insider’s” Writing & Pitch competition...we want to connect you with people who can change your careers...and it's working.

All previous winners have found representation (right off of our panel). We brought Last Year's Winner in to HBO, SHOWTIME, ABC, AMC, FOX TV STUDIOS, SCOTT FREE, SONY TV and more. Fox TV Studios came on board and is still working with him.

Winners see immediate movement in their careers, because we have brought on some of the most relevant AGENTS, PRODUCERS and EXECUTIVES working in the industry today to make this a true extension of today’s industry, not a contest that occurs in a ‘festival bubble’.

Looking for: SCREENPLAYS, TV PILOTS, PITCHABLE IDEAS…also GRAPHIC NOVELS, SHORT STORIES, BOOKS, PLAYS…

All genres, film and TV, as well as 'source material' (books, plays, etc...). Additionally, this year we have added an award for artists whose work can make a positive SOCIAL IMPACT on the world.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
As previous winners begin to see dramatic changes in their careers (Signed by Agents, Studio deals, High-Level meetings, projects financed by our sponsor, etc...) the NexTV Writing & Pitch Competition is making its fourth year, the most exciting one yet.

GOOD WRITING DRIVES THIS INDUSTRY. We are in a golden age for writers in this business. Television is more diverse and cutting-edge than it’s ever been. Indie films are among the most significant in the business and graphic novels, books, short stories (etc…) are in huge demand as content for film and tv.

We simply ask:

*Are you ready to INTRODUCE YOUR WORK to the very TOP CIRCLES OF THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY?

Or,

*DO YOU HAVE A GREAT IDEA FOR A TV SHOW?

We accept FEATURES, TV PILOTS, GRAPHIC NOVELS, PLAYS..and great TV IDEAS.

NOTE: This year we are ALSO ACCEPTING VIDEO PITCHES (SIZZLE REELS, TRAILERS, TEASERS).

Submit your work to the NexTv Writing & Pitch Competition for your chance to win CASH and great prizes, but most of all ACCESS to the very top Decision-Makers in Hollywood - top AGENTS (ICM, GERSH, PARADIGM, LARCHMONT LIT + UTA's former Head of the Story Dept.) and EXECS ("JACK THE GIANT SLAYER", "FAST & FURIOUS", former Senior VP of DISNEY, HBO dev exec of 10 years, producer for CBS, LIFETIME TV, SYFY Channel. The President of SONY PICTURES & the Acquisition Exec for COMEDY CENTRAL'S TripTank are among the "Mentors" for our winners.

With our industry's ELITE writers/producers/directors on board to offer guidance (as mentors), you can EXPERIENCE HOLLYWOOD the way MILLION DOLLAR WRITERS do.
