Can I retract or "delete" my submission after I apply to a festival?
Never submit an electronic entry to a festival if you do not plan to follow through with supporting materials. Hitting "Submit" on the Apply Page or paying through your Shopping Cart is considered final.

Many users raise this question simply because they want to modify the information already submitted. In this case, there is no need to delete the submission at all. You can modify your online materials at any time, and festivals always have access to the latest information you provide.

If you simply made a careless error and applied to the wrong festival, NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY. Withoutabox can take a series of steps to back you out of it.

NOTE: If you paid an entry fee online through the System, a $5 service charge will be deducted from the amount of your refund to cover Withoutabox's costs for both the initial transaction and the refund. This arrangement is very fair, since it does not tax other users of the System for your error.
