Which festivals are the best for me to apply to?
It is impossible for us to tell you which festivals are "best" for your film. Each festival has different characteristics and benefits for filmmakers, and it is a highly subjective endeavor.

The System provides you with neutral information, presented in a parallel format, that you can use to make more informed decisions. It is the simplest, least time consuming method of researching, entering, and tracking your submissions.

Click the Short List tab in your left-side navigation if you want to get a list of festivals that fit the general profile of your film. This looks at the basic rules and qualifiers for all our Partner Festivals and compares them to the information in your master entry form. (It deliberately does not look at deadlines, which in some cases may have passed for the current year.) Short List can be helpful in identifying objective matches for your film.
