How does the festival get my script?
If you have the accepted file type uploaded to your project form, it will automatically be submitted with your application.
Every competition is different as far as the file types they accept online but a majority of them accept PDF or Final Draft. You can find the accepted file types on the category page of the listing, we also display all accepted formats in the "preview copy" drop down on the submission details page. If you have the accepted file type attached to your project, it will automatically go with your submission.
The system allows you to choose "NCP" (No Cover Page/No contact information listed), at the time of upload. We suggest uploading one version as "NCP", and one version that contains the cover page. Festivals will indicate if they want the cover page or not, and the system will allow them to take the indicated file.
Once you apply successfully, you will receive a confirmation page letting you know that the submission was successful. If your file was sent with your submission, it will be indicated here. If you did not have the accepted file type uploaded to your project form the page will display an upload option, and list all accepted file types. If the competition is only accepting hard copies, shipping instructions will be provided.
