Cinequest's reputation as a bastion of discovery where the creative world and Entertainment leaders meet the power of the Silicon Valley is in full blossom in its screenplay competition. A $5,000 cash prize and crystal award will be presented to the winning Feature-Length Script. Finalists will also get their scripts read by industry professionals. Previous industry readers have included: Lions Gate Films, Netflix, HBO, ICM Partners, Happy Madison Productions, Entertainment One, XYZ Films, First Light Films, Echo Lake Entertainment, Verve, and Popular Films. A $1,000 cash prize will be presented to the winning 60 minute teleplay. Finalists will also get their teleplay read by experts from HBO, Netflix, CBS, Vimeo, Music Box Films, Bond 360, Film Movement, Filmoption International, and Women Make Movies..
